| Sewing Instruction with Pam Dake Every Tuesday evening this fall come learn the skill of sewing. Pam will teach the beginner to the advanced. She will determine your needs and build an individualized program for you to advance your skill level. Sessions length is determined by your needs and will be offered in Sept, Oct, Nov, and Dec. Cost is $150 for four weeks and will be prorated if your needs require more or less time. The materials list is to be determined per student. All sewing machines, sergers, and ironing equipment is provided. |

| "Knitting for Dummies" Learn the basic knit and purl stitch, how to cast on and bind off, and at the same time create a beautiful scarf perfect for those crisp fall evenings coming up! This class is for anyone who has never knitted or wants an easy refresher. Cost is $50 for both evenings. |

| Beginning Basketry with Cindy Rust Spend a Saturday with Cindy leaning the art of Basketry! Students will learn to lay out the base of a basket, how to uptake, use a stop/start weave, and lashing of the rim. A brief history of what reed is made from and basic terms used during the process of weaving will also be discussed. Cost is $75 with lunch included. A $25 materials fee will be due to the instructor the first day of class. |

| Primitive Rug Hooking with Vicki Hardcastle Level: Beginning/Intermediate Rug hooking is an age-old art that evolved out of necessity to warm homes. Early hooked rugs were made from feed sacks and worn-out clothing - "recycling at it's best!" Create your own piece of history and a cherished heirloom for your family. This class will give you the skills needed to hook a rug. We will also learn about foundation fabric, wool, hooks, and frames. Color theory and design will be included. Cost is $300 with an additional materials fee of $50 due to the instructor the first day of class. |

| Weaving with Laura Fry http://laurafry.com Learning to Weave on a Floor Loom This three day workshop is for the person who has always wanted to learn to weave on a loom but wasn't sure where to start. During the class we will dress the loom and weave a sample warp, learning how the loom works and some basic weave structures, then weave a scarf. No experience required, although students who want to refine their technique are welcome. The emphasis will be on learning ergonomic/efficient ways to work. Cost TBA |
